David Pence, Performer
A founding member of The Builders Association, David Pence has performed in SUPER VISION, AVANTI, ALLADEEN, JUMP-CUT (FAUST), THE WHITE ALBUM, MASTER BUILDER, workshop productions of JET LAG and IMPERIAL MOTEL, and a proto-Builders HEDDA GABLER. He has taught at Builders' workshops at New York University and Theaterhaus Gessnerallee, Zurich. His voice is featured in Billy Klüver's 9 Evenings, Diller + Scofidio's Indigestion, and many sound installations by Ben Rubin including 917: A Code Without an Area, Sink, and America on the Move (Smithsonian). David designs and hosts the weekly music show Radio Junk Drawer on WMPG-FM and www.wmpg.org, and writes a music column, The Online Underground, for www.thebollard.com.
